The HOrb software and SDK will be programmed with EVC++4.0.The HOrb SDK will provide an empty project to test and build an HOrb dll plugin. To access directly to the screen memory,PocketHal will be used.
PocketHAl is a free c++ library wich provide direct access to screen. The HOrb application will be like a game.
Run the HOrb exe and do everything in the Horb screen. The screen below is an exemple of small HOrb application
with only two plugins.

HOrb is a FREE user interface for Windows Mobile.
The most important feature in HOrb is extensibility.A complete SDK will be released with HOrb to allow developpers to build the bricks of the GUI.The concepts of HOrb are:
- The HOrb’s main screen called Display Surface (DS) do only one task: displaying Orbs.
- Orbs are the main bricks of HOrb.
- Orbs are plugins builded with the SDK.
- Orbs icon is displayed by the Orb himself depending of the Orb status.
- An Orb can display on the current DS
- The current DS is switchable to a private Orb DS.
- The Orbs build with SDK are Dlls automatically loaded and included in the main HOrb application. So, users can add newest Orbs by copy the desired dlls to the HOrb plugins directory.
In this blog, you will see all the developpment of HOrb step by step…..
